Redesigning the designs law |
Parliament is currently debating changes to our design laws, following an extensive review by the Australian Law Reform Commission ("ALRC"). |
The Designs Bill 2002 and the Designs (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2002 were introduced into Parliament on 11 December 2002. The Bills were referred to the Senate Economics Legislation Committee on 5 March 2003, and a report was tabled in Parliament on 28 May 2003. |
